Sun Open 12.30pm till 10.00pm. Last orders for food 8.00pm, last drink orders 9.30pm.
Mondays - now open Mondays through till January, inc 4th Jan
Tue - Thu open 12 noon till 8.00pm for food, last orders for drinks 9.45pm.
Fri & Sat open 12 noon till 9.00pm for food. last orders for drinks 10.00pm close 10.30
Remember - last entry to the building is 9.00pm
To ensure you of your safety during your visit there are a few details I have to mention here so here goes:-
- Face covering MUST be worn on arrival and when moving about for toilets etc.
- We will ask you to sanitise your hands on arrival. Units will be available at the front door and throughout the Tavern
- Physical distancing - we are following the 1 metre plus guidleines inside and 2m outside.
- Numbers entering the Tavern will be limited
- Masks/Visors will be worn by our team
- One way system inside the building for accessing toilets and exiting the building, staff will assist you to keep you right
- Card and contactless payment avaiable and preferred
- Our team will clear and sanitise each table area after each group leaves
- We have increased our cleaning schedules to ensure we maintain and go beyond our existing levels of hygiene
- We will be adapting some elements of our table service to adhere to social distancing
- We will be operating table service for FOOD AND DRINKS. We cannot offer space at the bar for drinking so you will be asked to sit at a table even if just ordering drinks.
- We regret there is bandit or darts available at the current time.
- All measures are constantly under review and may be changed at any time in line with current guidleines.

Cawdor Tavern is situated in the beautiful conservation village of Cawdor, close to the castle made famous by Shakespeare's Macbeth. Norman & Christine Sinclair took over Cawdor Tavern in 1994 and have strived to create a haven for locals and visitors alike to enjoy quality dining, fine malts, interesting ales and an excellent wine selection.
